Does this set include the mirror glass and mirror caps?
No. The set contains the mirror bodies with the folding mechanism, the push button and the holder. The lower mirror housings are supplied in black (unpainted). The painted mirror caps and the mirror glass (lenses) are transferred from your current mirrors onto the new folding bodies.

Are all door control units compatible with folding mirrors?
No. There are two hardware versions of the door control units, and folding mirrors require the "Highline" version. You can tell them apart by the third block of the part number — the prefix (5Q0, 3WA, 8Y0…) and the trailing letter (K, L, A, D…) do not matter for compatibility:

Driver's door: …959 593… = Highline, compatible  /  …959 393… = Lowline, must be replaced
Passenger door: …959 592… = Highline, compatible  /  …959 392… = Lowline, must be replaced
Example: 5Q0 959 593 K is compatible, 5Q0 959 393 K needs to be replaced. If your control units are the Lowline version, you can order the one with door module .
